  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard as a substitute)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard mixture over them. Make sure they are well-coated.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making the chicken tender and juicy.
