Fluffy and buttery garlic biscuits that are easy to make and perfect for any meal.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cubed cold butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk and add the minced garlic. Stir until just combined.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently about 5-6 times until it comes together.
  • Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter before baking.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush with more melted butter if desired.
