  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce ((homemade or store-bought))
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add marinara sauce to the skillet and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, parmesan, and gorgonzola. Mix well.
  • Pour the marinara sauce over the pasta mixture and stir until combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
