- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures that your buns bake evenly.
- In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Flatten each one into a small round shape.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center of each biscuit. Be careful not to overfill!
- Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stuffed buns on a greased baking sheet, seam side down.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over them.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. The cheese should be melted and bubbly.
- Let them cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
