- 2 cups mixed tropical fruits (like mango, pineapple, kiwi, and strawberries)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup granola or crushed cookies for crunch
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Start by washing and preparing your fruits. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. If you want it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup at this stage.
- In another bowl, mix the whipped cream with the yogurt until well combined.
- Begin layering your trifle: start with a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom of your trifle dish.
- Add a layer of mixed fruits on top of the yogurt.
- Sprinkle a layer of granola or crushed cookies for some crunch.
- Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of fruits on top.
- Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color.
