A refreshing and colorful dessert featuring layers of tropical fruits, creamy yogurt, and crunchy granola.

  • Total Time: 20

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed tropical fruits (like mango, pineapple, kiwi, and strawberries)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granola or crushed cookies for crunch
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by washing and preparing your fruits. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. If you want it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup at this stage.
  • In another bowl, mix the whipped cream with the yogurt until well combined.
  • Begin layering your trifle: start with a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom of your trifle dish.
  • Add a layer of mixed fruits on top of the yogurt.
  • Sprinkle a layer of granola or crushed cookies for some crunch.
  • Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of fruits on top.
  • Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
  • Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color.
