  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine and lemon juice, simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Drain the pasta and combine it with the shrimp mixture, adding remaining butter, salt, and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes.
