  • 1 pound beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your ingredients. Slice the beef against the grain, and chop your vegetables.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Toss in the broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the beef back into the pan along with the teriyaki sauce. Stir well to coat everything.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
