- 1 pound beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- Start by preparing your ingredients. Slice the beef against the grain, and chop your vegetables.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Toss in the broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
- Add the beef back into the pan along with the teriyaki sauce. Stir well to coat everything.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
