  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (Optional, for a spicy kick)

Instructions

  • Start by seasoning the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • After searing, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate while you prepare the sauce.
  • Lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens slightly.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. If you like a bit of heat, add red pepper flakes at this point.
  • Return the steaks to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce for about a minute.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
