- 1 lb Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high heat helps caramelize the sprouts.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- If using balsamic vinegar, drizzle it over the sprouts in the last five minutes of roasting.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
