Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Dice the fresh pineapple into small pieces.
- In a medium saucepan, combine pineapple, red bell pepper, brown sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, chili flakes, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until bubbling.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and chili flakes as desired.
- Remove from heat, cool, and store in a jar.
