- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
- Mix ground beef and pork with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Roll into meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- In a pot, simmer beef broth and add diced potatoes and sliced carrots. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add meatballs to the pot and cook for another 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh dill.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcrowd the pan when browning meatballs.
- For added flavor, consider using homemade beef broth.
