- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 box vanilla wafers
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk until well blended and thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined. If desired, add powdered sugar and vanilla extract for extra sweetness and flavor.
- In a 9×13 inch dish, place a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the dish.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the wafers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, pudding, and strawberries, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, you can add extra whipped topping and strawberries on top if desired.
