  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk until well blended and thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined. If desired, add powdered sugar and vanilla extract for extra sweetness and flavor.
  • In a 9×13 inch dish, place a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the dish.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the wafers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, pudding, and strawberries, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
