Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk (whole or skim)
- 1/2 cup whipped cream (plus extra for topping)
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar (optional, depending on strawberry sweetness)
- 1–2 pieces shortcake biscuits (crumbled for texture)
- as needed pieces fresh strawberries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by preparing your strawberries. Wash them, hull them, and slice them into smaller pieces.
- Add the strawberries, vanilla ice cream, milk, and sugar into a blender. I like to use whole milk for a creamier texture.
- Blend on high until smooth. If you prefer a thicker shake, add more ice cream until you reach your desired consistency.
- Once blended, gently fold in the whipped cream and crumbled shortcake biscuits for that delightful texture.
- Pour the milkshake into tall glasses. Top with extra whipped cream, crumbled biscuits, and a few fresh strawberries for garnish.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing flavors!
