  • 1 box strawberry cake mix ((15.25 oz))
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top, if desired.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before serving. Enjoy that earthquake effect when you cut into it!
