  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough and press seams together.
  4. Place the dough in a greased baking dish, pressing it to fit.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Add sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese filling.
  7. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and brush with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
