A delightful and creamy topping for drinks and desserts, made with fresh strawberries and cream cheese.

  • Total Time: 15

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer to beat until smooth and creamy – it should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the mixture. Blend until well combined, but don’t overmix; you want some strawberry bits for texture.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This takes about 3-5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry-cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream; you want to keep that airy texture.
  • Once fully combined, taste the foam and adjust sweetness if necessary. You might want to add more powdered sugar based on your preference.
  • Transfer the foam to a piping bag or a container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  • When ready, pipe or spoon the foam over your favorite iced drink or dessert, and enjoy!
