Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 each egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Combine until everything is well mixed.
  • Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and mold the meat around it to form a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  • Place the meatballs on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the outside is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and top with marinara sauce before serving.
