Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef (thinly sliced flank steak or sirloin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang ((Korean chili paste))
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 12 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1 cup fast kimchi
- 1 cup green onions (chopped, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, gochujang, garlic, and ginger. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While the beef is cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave them briefly until pliable.
- Add a generous scoop of the cooked beef to each tortilla. Top with fast kimchi, chopped green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
- Serve your tacos immediately while they’re hot.
