A quick and flavorful dish featuring marinated beef served over rice with fresh vegetables.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef ((ribeye or flank steak, thinly sliced))
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang ((Korean chili paste))
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic ((minced))
  • 1 teaspoon ginger ((grated))
  • 2 cups cooked rice ((white or brown))
  • 1 cup mixed veggies ((like bell peppers, carrots, and onions))
  • 1 green onion ((sliced, for garnish))
  • sesame seeds ((for garnish))

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the sliced beef and mix well. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until it's cooked through and caramelized.
  • In the same skillet, add the mixed veggies. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Serve the cooked rice in bowls. Top with the beef and veggies. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
