- 1 lb chicken breast (diced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lime juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 4 large tortillas
- 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
- 1 medium tomato (diced)
- 1 avocado (sliced)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt (optional))
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Next, toss in the diced chicken, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s cooked through and no longer pink.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from heat and stir in the lime juice and zest.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until pliable.
- To assemble the wraps, place a generous portion of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Add the lettuce, tomato, and avocado on top. If you like, add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt.
- Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Slice the wraps in half, serve, and enjoy!
