  • 2 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the tortellini, cover the skillet, and cook according to the package instructions, usually 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the tortellini is cooked, stir well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
