- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the tortellini, cover the skillet, and cook according to the package instructions, usually 5-7 minutes.
- Once the tortellini is cooked, stir well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
