  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant; be careful not to burn it.
  • Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and rice vinegar. Mix well and let it bubble for a minute.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro if desired.
