- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 green onions sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant; be careful not to burn it.
- Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the soy sauce and rice vinegar. Mix well and let it bubble for a minute.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro if desired.
