  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 pound crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, and sauté until they’re soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute, being careful not to burn it.
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning and paprika, allowing the spices to bloom for about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  • Gently fold in the crab meat, and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your flavorful dish!
