- 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cinnamon for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, flour, remaining sugar, milk, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the peach mixture over the batter without stirring.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
