  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cinnamon for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, flour, remaining sugar, milk, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the peach mixture over the batter without stirring.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
