  • 1 pound smoky sausage, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked rotini to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
