- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook your rice according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned.
- Pour in the maple syrup and stir to coat the chicken evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Once the rice is ready, fluff it and divide among serving bowls. Top with the smoky maple chicken and garnish.
