- 2 pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 7-9 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken and brush with more BBQ sauce. Grill for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
