- 12 oz fettuccine or your choice of pasta
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
- Olive oil (for sautéing)
Instructions
- Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to salt the water for flavor.
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until it’s crispy.
- Once the bacon is cooked, toss in the minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing everything together to coat well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
