- 3-4 pounds chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 6-8 pieces pepperoncini peppers
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- to taste Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Sear the roast on each side for about 3-4 minutes in a hot skillet.
- Transfer the roast to the slow cooker and sprinkle ranch and au jus mixes over it.
- Add pepperoncini and pour beef broth around the roast.
- Place butter on top of the meat.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
- Shred meat with forks and mix with juices before serving.
