  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Pour it over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch mixed with water in the last 30 minutes.
  • Shred the chicken and serve garnished with green onions.
