- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
- to taste salt and pepper
- for garnish chopped green onions
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Pour it over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch mixed with water in the last 30 minutes.
- Shred the chicken and serve garnished with green onions.
