- 2 breasts chicken (boneless and skinless)
- 1 can (15 oz) sweet corn, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- to taste fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Add the drained corn on top of everything.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks about 30 minutes before serving and stir in the cheddar cheese if using.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
