Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: hot sauce
Instructions
- Start by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken evenly.
- Next, add the cream cheese on top of the chicken. You don’t need to stir it yet.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours. The chicken should be fully cooked and tender.
- Once done, shred the chicken using two forks right in the slow cooker. Stir in the melted cream cheese until combined.
- Finally, mix in the crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese. Let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
- Top with fresh green onions and, if desired, drizzle with hot sauce for a bit of heat.
