- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Mix barbecue sauce, chicken broth, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce over chicken, coating it well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
- Serve on buns, in tacos, or over rice.
