- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the white wine (or broth) and stir in the red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shrimp mixture, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side of crusty bread and a fresh salad!
