A delicious and easy-to-make shrimp scampi dish baked to perfection with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese.

  • Total Time: 35

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the white wine (or broth) and stir in the red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shrimp mixture, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side of crusty bread and a fresh salad!
