  • 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced (optional))
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs (like parsley or basil for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until they release their moisture.
  • Add the sliced zucchini and garlic (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté everything together for about 5-7 minutes, until the zucchini is tender but still slightly crisp.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately!
