- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add honey, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture. Beat until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and sea salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a little granulated sugar on top of each cookie before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
