- 1 cup salsa verde (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
- for garnish Fresh cilantro (optional)
- 1 piece lime (Juice of 1 lime (optional))
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large baking dish, add the chicken breasts and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
- Pour the salsa verde evenly over the chicken, making sure it’s well-coated.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime juice if desired.
