  • 1 cup salsa verde (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 piece lime (Juice of 1 lime (optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large baking dish, add the chicken breasts and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
  • Pour the salsa verde evenly over the chicken, making sure it’s well-coated.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime juice if desired.
