- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 count egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste count salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 4 oval patties, about 1 inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and scrape the bottom to deglaze. Stir in the 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the patties to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Let them simmer together for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
