Instructions
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- Add activated yeast, olive oil, garlic, and rosemary to the flour mixture; stir until dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough, shape it into a round loaf, and place on a baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake loaf for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing and enjoying.
