Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix in the melted butter, salt, and garlic. Gradually add the flour, stirring to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the dough rises.
- Once risen, punch the dough down and divide it into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).
- In a small bowl, mix the rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Roll the dough balls in the mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Arrange the coated dough balls in a greased loaf pan. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
