A delightful, homemade bread infused with the flavors of garlic and rosemary, perfect for any meal.

  • Total Time: 45

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Stir to combine.
  • Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  • Incorporate minced garlic and chopped rosemary into the dough. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
  • Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Tap the bottom of the loaf; if it sounds hollow, it’s done!
  • Allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm!
