- 1 large flatbread flatbread (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 head garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap the head of garlic in aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
- While the garlic roasts, prepare your flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Once the garlic is done, let it cool a bit before squeezing the cloves into a bowl.
- Mix the roasted garlic with ricotta, oregano, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the flatbread.
- Add the cooked chicken on top of the ricotta.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the flatbread is crispy and the edges are golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
