  • 1 large flatbread flatbread (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wrap the head of garlic in aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
  • While the garlic roasts, prepare your flatbread on a baking sheet.
  • Once the garlic is done, let it cool a bit before squeezing the cloves into a bowl.
  • Mix the roasted garlic with ricotta, oregano, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  • Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the flatbread.
  • Add the cooked chicken on top of the ricotta.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the flatbread is crispy and the edges are golden.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
