A delightful twist on the classic cookie, packed with crispy Rice Krispies and rich chocolate chips.

  • Total Time: 27

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  • Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips and Rice Krispies cereal until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may look slightly underbaked—that's okay! They’ll firm up as they cool.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
