  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini work great)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta, half of the cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh basil, if desired.
