- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup pistachios (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon rosewater
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add milk and melted butter, stirring until a dough forms.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough lightly. Roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold in the chopped pistachios and rosewater.
- Spread the cream mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 1-inch rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
