Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the honey and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground pistachios, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, garnish with additional ground pistachios and a drizzle of honey.
