- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder for 3-4 minutes, then set aside.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Combine steak and vegetables, cook for 1 minute, then stir in provolone cheese until melted.
- Roll out pizza dough into a rectangular shape about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut dough into rectangles, fill with steak and cheese mixture, fold, and seal edges.
- Brush with beaten egg and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake on parchment-lined sheet for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
