- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Top each serving with a slice of provolone cheese and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
