- 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, pesto, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the cherry tomatoes.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Make sure everything is well combined.
- Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Once done, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
