  • 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, pesto, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the cherry tomatoes.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Make sure everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Once done, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
