  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced (or frozen peaches, thawed)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flour (for crumble topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for crumble topping)
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, diced (for crumble topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  • In a separate bowl, mix diced peaches with brown sugar and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, cinnamon, and diced cold butter to create the crumble topping.
  • Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter, add a spoonful of the peach mixture, and top with more batter until full.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping generously over each donut.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
